Full-time Position Available at Arts Council

The Arts Council of Fairfax County is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator who will manage contributed income operations to include government and foundation grants, corporate gifts, major donor gifts, an annual fundraising event, and cultivation activities.  The position is available for immediate start, and will be open until filled.  See the full job description below.  No calls please.

The Hub Theatre, based in Reston, now has a home for their productions at the John Swayze Theater of the New School of Northern Virginia through a partnership with the school.  This is a great partnership and an achievement for the Hub Theatre and theater in Fairfax County! The Arts Council is waiving the membership requirement for grant applicants.  We do hope that you will want to continue your affiliation and continue to receive the many benefits the Arts Council provides to its members and supporters. Please see the grants page for updated guidelines for all four grant programs for important revisions.

Congratulations go out to our 20 International Children's Festival winners. Each one of you will receive two tickets in early August. The tickets are good for one day only during the weekend of September 18 and 19, 2010.

The Arts Council is giving away 20 pairs of tickets to the 40th annual Festival to be held on September 18 & 19, 2010 at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.
