Creative Cauldron is pleased to bring back this wonderful and unique festival, "Passport to the World." The series will highlight regions from around the globe for eight weeks, with 21 different unique and traditional performances from our world's vast array of cultures. Russkie Musikanti Balalaika Ensemble (Tickets $12-15) This ensemble is comprised of ten members of the Washington Balalaika Society, the largest Russian folk orchestra in the United States. The ensemble wears traditional Russian costumes and performs on authentic Russian folk instruments bringing the music of Russia and Eastern Europe to the broader community. The ensemble will perform different styles of Russian and Eastern European Music, including some music that was especially composed for the folk instruments used.
