About me: Henrik is the Director of Communications & Visual Art. He defines, implements, and oversees marketing and branding strategies for both electronic and printed communications for the Arts Council. Henrik has 13 years of combined experience in marketing, design, and communications in addition to a strong visual arts background. He earned an MFA in graphic communications from the University of Engineering & Technology in Mannheim, Germany and a second MFA in painting from the University of Houston, Texas. In the evenings and on weekends he can be found at the Torpedo Factory Art Center printing etchings and silk screens and he continues to exhibit his work nationally.

Since 1991, the Classical Ballet Theatre has dedicated itself to Outreach, Performance and Education - bringing the beauty, excitement, and wonder found in the art of dance to Northern Virginia and the surrounding communities.

The Classical Ballet Theatre Academy is the official ballet school of the Classical Ballet Theatre. The CBT Academy provides training and coaching opportunities to prepare young dancers for a career in the performing arts as well as to provide classes for dancers of all ages and levels in the community.
