All the World's Our Stage
International Children's Festival Black Tie Gala

Join us as we kick off the International Children’s Festival at Wolf Trap, on Friday evening, September 16, 2005 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner!

Representatives of the Embassies of Georgia, India, Mexico, and Nigeria will mingle with elected officials from the region, corporate executives and foundation representatives.

The reception begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes an exhibition of children’s art from refugee camps all over the world.  This special exhibit is made possible by CIAO! (Children’s International Art Outreach).  Performers will circulate and some of the young international performers will be present to join you in conversation.

At 8:00 p.m. the international dinner begins.  A stage in the center of the ballroom will showcase the young performers from this year's featured companies traveling from India, Mexico, Nigeria and Georgia.  Performances will continue throughout the evening as guests enjoy a menu of international foods.

Gary McCollum, of Cox Communications, is Chairman of the 2005 Festival, and he joins John D. Morrissette, of Interstate Relocation Worldwide, the 2005 Festival Fundraising Chairman, in welcoming the guests to this very special evening.

The International Children's Festival is reason to celebrate bringing together the interational community with Fairfax leaders.
