Have you ever seen a movie in which the same person plays two roles on screen at the same time? Join us and star in a short television script with your own “twin”.

Exploring Virtual Reality through Computer Aided Design
Computers now allow us to view an on screen world that seems remarkably “real”. Join us and try your hand at creating some 3-D art and spaces you can explore.

From Clay to Claymation
Build your own clay character and create your own short animated feature using the claymation video process you have seen in feature films and on television.

Meet and Greet Sprockit
Sprockit, the interactive robot, attracts large crowds of curious children and fascinated adults wherever he goes. Although he is a futuristic, high-tech creation with a working computer and moveable parts, he has life-like qualities that include speaking, carrying on simple conversations and dancing.

Poster Fun
Create a unique personalized poster to take with you as a reminder of your visit to the 2005 International Children’s Festival.

Scratch Like a D.J.
Using some of the latest virtual tools, mix songs and samples like the pros.

So You Always Wanted a Different Face
Pick a face (beautiful, ugly, famous) and watch the students of Potomac School transform you into that image. And, if you want, they will transform you back to your own face.

Say Hello to Dexter
Come down to the International Children's Festival Arts & Tech Pavilion to meet Dexter, the pint-sized genius from Cartoon Network's "Dexter's Laboratory"!

Space Travel in 3-D
Take a virtual trip through space to visit the stars! Along the way, you’ll see other planets, dodge meteors and more as you move through simulated three-dimensional space.

The Arts & Technology Pavilion is made possible by the generous support of The Case Foundation, Adobe Systems Inc., ArtReach International, Cox Communications Northern Virginia, Fairfax County Public Schools, Northrop Grumman, The Potomac School, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Kids learn about the intersection of arts and technology through hands on experiences.
