CAPs Artist YoJo! during a school show performance |
The Creative Artists Programs (CAPs) give artists and art groups the opportunity to showcase in front of young audiences in an educational environment. Artists get booked through schools and other area organizations. We have over 100 active subscribers to the program and are constantly exploring new markets. Our mission is to help market your services to your audiences. The Arts Council of Fairfax County received the 2011 Community Partner of the Year Award presented by the Fairfax County Public Schools for the CAPs program.
We accept new artists all year round. In February and September, we host live-auditios. If you can't make the live-audition date we will review your artist application and portfolio online. You will be screened by a panel. Before you can participate in the program, you will have to submit your information via this form. Please visit this page for more information.
